Priced at £49, MAAREE will be making a donation from the sale of each bra to breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! to support it to continue the work it does to educate and remind young people that checking their boobs regularly could save their lives.

This year, MAAREE opened up the design of the bra to its audience, launching a competition on its social channels on International Women’s Day.  The winning design was created by Natasha Jones, a final year Sports Engineering student at Loughborough University.  A beautiful camouflage-esque design, black outlines of the female form combined with striking, earthy shades of green, orange and brown, cleverly come together to represent all female body shapes, sizes and skin colours. With a subtle abstract element at its core, Jones’ intention in her design was to highlight how none of the female shapes overlap, representing a spectrum of women supporting each other without being in competition.  The bra also features a CoppaFeel! label to remind all wearers to regularly check their boobs.

Commenting on the launch and design of the 2021 bra, Mari Thomas said, “I am really proud to once again be supporting CoppaFeel! and the vital work it does to educate young people on breast cancer. Natasha’s design was a clear winner for me. The design includes the first of its kind, truly functional, patented Overband® Technology developed by Mari Thomas to minimise upward motion and boob bounce.
