Zurich, Switzerland. Because no other item of clothing has played a bigger role in shaping what youth culture is about, Swiss performance brand On and Roger Federer set out to release a brand new sneaker today, the ROGER Clubhouse. And this time around, it’s about making a statement.  

A “Clubhouse” (usually) refers to a place where like-minded people or those who practice the same activity and sport hang out. It carries with it a sense of belonging, a place where all common affinities join; one culture. We called this new iteration of the ROGER a Clubhouse, so that those wearing it recognize one another. 

The ROGER Clubhouse has a chunkier look and feel then her former Centre Court sister. The upper, made from vegan leather, is tailored with textured layering for more robustness and durability. 

And who’s to say a more conscious approach to footwear sourcing (hello vegan leather!) takes away from performance? The ROGER Clubhouse features all of On’s performance DNA including the signature Speedboard® and CloudTec® technology. It’s all there, hidden and redesigned in shape for a more generational silhouette. The shoe also features a herringbone pattern for better traction so you can use them wherever you see fit. Sneakers are made to be functional and not just a fixture in your wardrobe.

And for those who tend to shy away from an all white silhouette and still believe that collectibles should remain in immaculate condition, it’s about living in them. Every crease should take you back to a moment in time you celebrated being you. Paint them proud!
