Inspired by the brand’s best-selling performance shoes, the all-new Cloud Play and Cloud Sky are On’s first venture into a highly requested category by avid On fans all around the world.
“We were so inspired by the expansiveness of a child’s imagination when first concepting this line”, explains Gérald Marolf, Head of Product. “The intention was to create a fun and flexible shoe that would encourage creativity through movement. We adapted our Swiss-Engineered performance footwear, built first and foremost to sustain top-quality comfort, to create shoes that also would provide young movers the ability to endure those occasional growth spurts.”
Inspired by On’s most iconic product, the Cloud, the Cloud Play and Cloud Sky reinvent comfort and durability geared towards the young and growing mover. Built with biometrics in mind, the adapted CloudTec® technology activates at much lower weights, making them suitable for smaller feet to both move and grow freely.
A fortified toe cap adds protection and durability for kids’ multi-activity usage. On combines elastic lace with a power strap closure for a simple yet secure system for the kids’ version. To excite preteens that want the original, On has chosen the same materials and silhouette as the Cloud model.
The kids’ shoes Cloud Play and Teen shoes Cloud Sky launch globally on March 2nd, 2023, and are available at select retail partners and online at www.on-running.com.
