Nuasan Active Body Wipes

When the Nuasan Body Wipes arrived, I was intrigued.

How can a plant based, biodegradable and vegan product help you feel clean, shower-fresh and completely invigorated?  Believe me, Nuasan have done it with their Active Body Wipes.  They have been my go-to after every evening run, where I don’t have time to grab a shower before bedtime.  

The infusion of bamboo and peppermint instantly sets you up for a five-minute spa experience and leaves you feeling refreshed and completely relaxed.

As a person with quite sensitive skin, I’m usually cautious with trying new products on my face, I found the natural ingredients are gentle on my skin and helped to hydrate, leaving my skin feeling clear and clean.

Individually wrapped for ease, you can pop these in your gym bag, handbag or rucksack for when you are on the go and need that hit of freshness. Coming in packs of 25, these are not your every day throw away wipes, they are a luxury.  They are my luxury.  Which is why I have taken to hiding these from my daughter and husband who have also discovered the Nuasan Active Body Wipe experience.

Nuasan Active Body Wash

For me, early evening shower time provides me with a daily disconnected sanctuary for just a few minutes – away from screens, kids, husbands and everything else that comes with juggling a family and a busy professional role.  And my ‘me time’ means that I love to try a new body wash – anything from an off the supermarket shelf established brand to the luxury kind I only ever get to indulge in if they are gifted to me on birthdays and Christmas. So, I was really excited when our Nuasan products arrived and I could test the body wash. 

The smell of a body wash is always a decision maker or breaker for me and I was wonderfully surprised at the fresh, clean scent that the Nuasan body wash gave off.  I wasn’t sure there would be much scent at all as often, I have found chemical free ones aren’t fragrant and frankly a bit dull, but this has just the right amount of peppermint power behind it to instantly uplift but not overwhelm. And it lingers for ages afterwards, leaving the room smelling really crisp and light. 

I’m also a fan of lather and again, my reservations were quashed as it lathers up really nicely.  As I apply my lovely lather, I always take a few deep breaths in and I can genuinely say I feel as if all the ingredients are revitalising me from the outside in. I feel relaxed, soothed and a little calmer pretty quickly. What’s more, after a busy day combining school runs, a daily power walk, desk time and on my off days, a lot of chores, it’s the soles of my little feet and tops of my shoulders that really feel the brunt of my day, so I spend a little bit of time massaging in the Nuasan lather in these areas.  Just a few seconds every day provides me with a quick and effective peppermint infused fix – shoulders feel less tense and feet less achy – the arnica and magnesium to help tired muscles definitely do their job really well.  

I wasn’t sure how the wash would feel on my skin and indeed, how my skin would feel afterwards as I have previously found that washes and gels for either sensitive skin or those that are chemical free have left my skin feeling ‘squeaky’.  Not so much that they didn’t make me feel squeaky clean because they did, more that my skin actually squeaked as if it had been stripped of a layer of moisture.  This doesn’t do that – my skin feels soft, super clean and really quite nourished.  

The Nuasan Active Body Wash provides me with a snapshot spa experience in the comfort of my en-suite that revitalises, soothes and re-energises the whole of my five foot self, from top to toe, before I venture back downstairs to the trials and tribulations of family life … and breathe!

Nuasan Active Foot Care

After spending the past seven months in socks and either my slippers or trainers (when I managed to get out of the house for a run or dog walk) my feet have certainly suffered. As Spring rolled around, I was very keen to try the new Nuasan foot care product to get my feet flip-flop ready!

The simple packaging immediately appealed as did the fact that 75% of the bottle is made from recycled plastic, it’s the perfect size too for a wash or kit bag. One of the main issues I have with my feet is hard skin cells, which have built up over the Winter months, so I was pleasantly surprised that after just a few weeks of using the Nuasan foot care my feet were looking noticeably healthier and much softer.  The easy pump spay dispenser means you can reach in-between your toes too, so great for those that suffer from athlete’s foot. 

I’ve been applying the foot care after my morning shower, initially I wasn’t sure about the scent, it smelt like an antiseptic spay but that soon changes to a fresh, menthol aroma that lasts and has certainly made my socks smell 100% times better!

The Nuasan foot care is certainly a game changer when it comes to looking after my often-neglected feet – roll on Summer so I can show off my sweet smelling and healthy-looking hooves!
