Empowering women with MAAREE
MAAREE produces award-winning sports bras for women who want to work hard in the gym and are tired of badly fitting or ‘only pink’ sportswear. The brand wants its sports bra and Overband® technology to empower women of all shapes and sizes.
Aspire has helped to raise the bar for MAAREE since 2020, securing media coverage and industry recognition to support its ambition to become the number one sports bra in the UK.
As a recent entry to the sports bra market in 2019, MAAREE lacked lifestyle imagery and video to support its revolutionary products and brand ethos.
Aspire worked with MAAREE on its very first brand shoot and collaborated with the team to produce a whole suite of lifestyle assets, created with their target customer in mind.
The creative needed to support the brand proposition of empowerment and truly represent what MAAREE stands for – celebrating and empowering real women. We defined the creative brief and shot list, worked with the photographer, videographer, stylist and make-up artist (MUA) to make sure all elements of
the shoot worked together seamlessly. We recruited the models and liaised with the venue to make sure we had all the equipment and props available to achieve the shots we wanted.
With a library of over 300 images and 3 videos, MAAREE now has access to creative that will shape the look and feel of the brand for the long term and work across all brand channels.

Showcasing St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club
St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club in Weybridge offers an oasis of sport, health and wellbeing on the edge of London. With world-class facilities and a beautiful 16-acre lakeside setting, the Club has been setting high standards since 1913.
Aspire has been supporting the Club’s external marketing strategy with a fresh approach to content creation to drive successful sales and marketing campaigns for new members.
Our goal was to modernise the brand but ensure the heritage and uniqueness of the Club was captured with new photography and videos. To achieve this, we wanted to showcase the beautiful location and extensive facilities on offer to local residents.
Aspire has been responsible for creating all content briefs, sourcing and appointing photographers and videographers and full management, direction and styling for four shoots since 2019.
We recruited a selection of models for each shoot and provided appropriate sports kit to ensure a professional look was achieved.
St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club now has an extensive image library to support both internal and external comms, from print advertising to new collateral and digital campaigns.
The Club has 5 videos (short and long edits) for use on the Club website, social channels and on paid digital ads.

Capturing new case studies for motive8
motive8 is one of Aspire’s long-term clients. We have been running the company’s marketing function for over 10 years now.
Founded in 1998, motive8 is the UK market leader in full-service premium health, fitness and leisure solutions. The company manages the design, installation, management and maintenance of leisure facilities for residential, corporate and commercial sites.
Crown Street in Manchester is one of its latest residential projects, with an impressive split-level gym, pool, spa and holistic studio with views overlooking the Manchester skyline.
To capture the space in its entirety and to show the scope of work delivered by motive8 for Crown Street, and future projects, we created a series of professionally shot videos. By refreshing the existing case study format, we wanted to make sure that every new project is brought to life across the company’s website and social channels.
As the first video case study in the series, we worked with a photographer and Manchester-based videographer to capture Crown Street’s impressive new gym space, the design, equipment and onsite staff.
We created an extensive shoot brief, managed the planning and logistics on the day, as well as overseeing post-production to ensure every version of the video was optimised for marketing channels and the team had full access to a library of assets.

Putting the heart into ‘motive8 Home’
motive8 launched ‘motive8 Home’ in 2021, an innovative home gym design and solutions service delivered by motive8’s in-house experts.
As the authorities on making better use of space, motive8’s design team can cleverly transform a spare room, garage or garden building into an ideal home gym, fitness studio or relaxation space. The solutions help motive8’s customers to achieve their fitness and wellbeing goals.
We worked closely with the ‘motive8 Home’ design team to help shape the new brand, create new marketing collateral, and execute a print and digital ad campaign. To support the campaign, we managed and styled a dedicated home gym photoshoot and created fresh content to support the launch.
To set the look and feel of the motive8 Home brand, we first produced a creative style guide which detailed the type of imagery that should be used across each channel. From there, we created a full shot list, worked on a styling guide, recruited the photographer and models, and sourced the props.
We created a library of assets for three different home gym options – a holistic and wellbeing studio, a classic gym and a functional strength-based home studio. Each set of visuals allowed the team to show the scope of home gym options available and offered a library of over 200 images to use across all brand channels.
Driving sign ups to Supersonic Fitness
In February 2019, Supersonic Fitness, a new independent wellbeing concept, opened in the centre of York. This unique space is home to a state-of-the art fitness facility, offering a full range of premium gym equipment alongside studio space for classes, a state-of-the-art spa recovery zone and a healthy eating café.
Supersonic is the first lifestyle facility of its kind in York and Aspire was appointed to raise awareness and attract people to experience everything Supersonic Fitness has to offer.
As a brand-new venue with no existing photography, we were given access to the site prior to the opening. We were able to capture a series of images to showcase this high-end lifestyle facility and create a walk-through approach, capturing the journey through the facility as if you were taking a tour.
In addition to creating the brief and shot list, we sourced a photographer and managed the shoot including a full set of team headshots and food images of the healthy dishes on offer in the café.
All assets were used across Supersonic’s digital platforms, printed launch collateral, including external signage and promotional materials, and provided the membership sales team with a wide range of images that communicate the holistic and wellness theme of the facility.
We were delighted to support this campaign and have enjoyed watching the brand flourish and grow into one of York’s most talked about fitness venues.
