One of our goals for 2022 was to embed sustainability and social responsibility into the heart of Aspire.
Following on from the work last year, we are proud to announce ‘Movement for Good’, our corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy for 2023 and the years ahead.
‘Movement for Good’ is our promise to play our part in tackling the challenges that face our communities and our planet.
A pledge from the heart
As an agency giving purpose to our day-to-day existence isn’t always easy. What we do is mostly centred around our client’s ambitions and objectives.
Developing a CSR strategy is one way we can make Aspire a PR agency with purpose and this strategy will be our north star for the work we do and the causes we support.
We want our pledge to have outcomes that back up the big words. Most of all, we want to make sure our actions will have a positive difference for future generations.
Our CSR strategy is based around 3 pillars:
- Diversity and inclusion
- Mental wellbeing
Our progress so far and plans for 2023
In 2023, we will continue to support the projects we’re passionate about and that can make a difference in our three focus areas.
We will also be appointing a Community Advisor and form an Active Communities Committee to gain deeper insight into how we can support diversity and inclusivity in campaigns and community activations.
We will complete the carbon footprint measurement of our agency and begin a targets-based sustainability plan in partnership with our sustainability advisor Toby Radcliffe and ZeroBees.
The launch of the strategy is an exciting milestone in the development of Aspire. Together with our community, our clients, suppliers, media contacts, co-creators, we are excited to collaborate around our shared passion of ‘movement for good’.
